Sally King Benedict is an abstract artist whose work has quickly caught the eye of critics and collectors alike. Her vibrant and sophisticated work has has been featured in various publications across the Southeast and has warranted solo shows across the region. She has been published in Garden & Gun, Elle Decor, Southern Accents, and many other online publications and blogs.
Sally grew up in Atlanta, frequently traveling and attending art openings, exhibits, and design shows, seeking inspiration from the work of both past and contemporary artists. She completed her education at The College of Charleston in 2007. Sally has traveled extensively to South America and Europe where she honed her eye and trademark ability to create visual texture with a rich, adventurous color palette and expressive linear techniques.
Sally is constantly working towards fresh ideas for new bodies of work and continues to take on commissions for critically acclaimed designers and collectors nationwide. She has just moved back to Atlanta after 10 years in Charleston, and lives with her husband, George and their new baby, River.
